Christmas Music
CHRISTMAS MUSIC
“Jingle Bells”, “White Christmas”,
“I’ll be Home” so “Let it Snow”
and “Santa Claus is Coming”,
are all songs that we know.
But “While Shepherds Watched their Flocks”
on that “O Holy Night”
“Angels Heard on High” “A Boy is Born”
“The Lamb of God” arrived that night.
“Away in a Manger” tells us
the story of Jesus’ birth.
That night “Three Kings” were guided
by watching a star shine on earth.
“Hark the Herald Angels Sing”
“Do you hear what I hear?”
“Mary’s Little Boy child”
“Came upon a midnight clear”.
“Joy to the World” sings praises
of the miracle that “Silent Night”
in the “Little town of Bethlehem”
where “.. A Lowly Stable” was just right.
“O Come all ye Faithful”
let “Good Christian Men Rejoice”
“Go Tell it on the Mountain”
“Bring a Torch” and sound your voice.
“Deck the Halls” with “.. Holly and The Ivy”
to celebrate “The First Noel”
when “Unto us a Child was Born”
“Glad Tidings of Great Joy” to tell.
“Please Come Home for Christmas”
to the home that’s in your heart,
and sing “Let there be Peace on Earth”,
as we must all play our part.
“We wish you a Merry Christmas”
and a “Winter Wonderland”.
May “Silver Bells” ring out for us
all across the land.
Merry Christmas everyone
